Prior to founding Wright & Associates, Charlene was a partner at a large national law firm. She founded Wright & Associates to provide clients responsive counsel focused specifically on the energy industry. She has deep knowledge of the regulations impacting the industry and experience helping clients integrate regulatory requirements and industry standards into their operations. She helps clients develop frameworks to manage compliance obligations and mitigate risk.
Charlene is licensed in Texas, Missouri, Kansas, Illinois and Oklahoma and has handled litigation in 14 states in both federal and state courts. She defends energy companies in litigation arising from operations and incidents. Charlene has managed complex origin and cause and root cause failure investigations, guiding clients through incident response, including multi-agency and cross border regulatory investigations and audits. She guides clients through comprehensive pipeline safety audits, manages due diligence and handles complex environmental compliance matters.
Alexander Monetti advises clients on federal and state environmental regulations, pipeline safety regulations and occupational health and safety regulations. Alex handles contractual issues that arise in the course of doing business in the energy industry. He works to protect clients’ interests and reduce risk by drafting, modifying and enforcing of a variety of contractual agreements ranging from master service agreements to storage terminal lease agreements and platform boarding agreements.
Alex conducts privileged environmental audits at pipeline facilities to help clients maintain compliance. and assists with permitting applications and failure investigations. He assists clients with preparation for federal and state pipeline safety regulatory and environmental audits. He works closely with clients on proactive compliance measures as well as enforcement defense.
Alex is licensed in Texas, and earned a Juris Doctor (JD) from Loyola University, in Chicago, IL
Brigid Ashcraft is a highly skilled litigator whose practice focuses primarily on commercial litigation, with an emphasis in the Oil & Gas/Energy sector. Brigid’s practice also encompasses drafting and reviewing various commercial and real estate contracts. Brigid also acts as the hearing chairperson in Houston for Arbitrations and Ethics hearings for the Texas Association of Realtors (“TAR”).
Brigid is licensed in Texas and admitted in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit U.S. District Court, Southern, Eastern and Western District of Texas. She earned a J.D. from South Texas College of Law, Houston, Texas, where she was Articles Editor and Member of the South Texas Law Review
Madison joined the firm as an Associate in 2023, having worked with us as a summer clerk for two years during law school. Madison brought her exuberant love of environmental and regulatory law and a passion for helping clients. Madison is a graduate of University of Houston Law School and University of Texas at Austin and is licensed in Texas.
Nick Rellihan joined the firm in 2023 as Wright & Associates launched HECTOR, a proprietary software to assist clients with integrated risk management. Nick is a 2011 graduate of Villanova University and has extensive experience with designing, executing and supporting software and mobile applications.
